Departure to the city center to visit the historic area, sculpture square and surroundings. We continue boarding the metro system to get to Santo Domingo and from there again we take the cable to Santa Elena. This corregimiento that is part of Medellín is the place where the silleteros, farmers from Antioquia who live behind the tradition of flowers. On Monday or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday, the cable will remain closed.
Once at the Arví station, we will have time to get to know the peasant market that is near the station. Then we will go to the traditional silletera family farm. In this farm we will know how this tradition began, we will visit its cultivation of flowers and we will have an explanation of how to make the different types of saddles: Traditional, Monumental and emblematic. Typical lunch in the area. We continue the tour to the Central Park where the monument to this tradition is located and return to Medellin.
